I am so sorry to hear of Howard's death - he was so full of life,  energy and hope when I met him. I remember how joyful you were when came to live with you.  You and the rest of your family are in my prayers.

I'm sure we all can agree that life takes many turns...this tragedy has hurt you all a great deal. I share your sorrow and am with you in this moment of pain. We are fortunate to have wonderful memories of the ones we love so we can take with us forever. Remember that as long as you can keep those memories with you, you are keeping him with you always. There are times when God tests our strength and unfortunately this is one of those times. Do not think of what “Could have been” think of all the wonderful memories you shared and be thankful to have had him in your life.

May God bless all of you and your families and give you some relief and joy during this time and grief.  After I viewed the slide show, it was clear to me that "Grif" loved and was well loved.... what a blessing in such a short life time. There are people who live to 90 and don't experience the joy of love that he experienced.  I know that Heaven awaited this young soul and that he is peaceful with all of his ancestors.  I will keep you in prayer. If there is anything I can do or provide to you during the months to come, just call or e-mail.  I will stay in touch...
